Do I need an account to use Pattiny? +
No. There's no sign-up, no login, and no password. You just open the app and start logging. Your identity is simply your own iCloud account on your device.
How does syncing work across my devices? +
Pattiny syncs automatically through your own private iCloud, so your lists appear on your iPhone and iPad without any setup. If you're not signed into iCloud, the app works fully on-device instead.
Where is my data stored, and can you see it? +
Your data stays on your device and in your own private iCloud, encrypted by Apple. There are no Pattiny servers and no Pattiny account, so the developer never has access to anything you log.
Is Pattiny free? +
Yes. Capture is always free and never limited: unlimited lists and entries, the widget, iCloud sync, weekly reports, recent heatmaps, and streaks are all included at no cost.
What does Pattiny Plus add? +
Plus adds shared lists, on-device AI weekly and monthly summaries, a full-year heatmap with full history, and export to a ZIP of CSV files. A 7-day free trial begins the first time you reach a Plus feature, and Family Sharing covers up to 5 members. Pricing is on the App Store.
Can I export or delete my data? +
Yes, both are built in. You can export everything as a ZIP of CSV files, and you can delete your data whenever you want. It's your data, and you stay in control of it.
Is Pattiny friendly for colour-blind users? +
Yes. You can display entries as colours, as symbols, or as both. The symbol sets (↓ → ↑ or ✕ ◐ ✓) are colour-blind friendly, and Pattiny fully supports VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
Which devices does Pattiny run on? +
Pattiny is one universal app for iPhone and iPad. On iPad it uses a three-column split view, and it's available in English and German.
